Our Commitment
Willowdale Equity is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for prospective investors, current limited partners, and all visitors to our website. We are actively working to increase the accessibility and usability of willowdaleequity.com — and we believe every user, regardless of ability, deserves an equal experience when researching investment opportunities, reading our educational content, or communicating with our team.
Standards
Our website aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities — including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disabilities.
We also strive to comply with the accessibility requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and applicable state and federal accessibility laws.
Accessibility Features
We have built the following accessibility features into this website:
- Keyboard navigation. All interactive elements (buttons, links, form fields, menus, modals) are operable by keyboard alone.
- Semantic HTML. Proper heading hierarchy (H1–H3), landmark regions, and ARIA labels for screen readers.
- Descriptive alt text. Images include meaningful alternative text wherever they convey content.
- Color contrast. Text and interactive elements are designed to meet or exceed WCAG AA contrast ratios.
- Resizable text. Content reflows cleanly when text is enlarged up to 200%.
- Mobile-responsive design. Layout adapts to phones, tablets, and desktops.
- Focus indicators. Visible focus rings on all interactive elements.
- Video captions. Educational videos hosted on YouTube support automatic captions and audio descriptions where available.
- Plain language. Investor-facing content avoids unnecessary jargon and defines key terms (cap rate, IRR, K-1, etc.) on first use.
Known Limitations
Despite our best efforts, there may be areas of the site where accessibility is still being improved. If you encounter an issue not listed here, please let us know.
- Third-party embedded content (YouTube videos, Google Maps, the Syndication Pro investor portal) is governed by its provider's own accessibility standards.
- Some older blog post images imported from previous versions of our site may have incomplete alternative text. We are reviewing and updating these on an ongoing basis.
- Older PDFs (e.g. legacy investor decks) may not yet be fully accessible. Accessible alternatives can be requested via the contact details below.
Assistive Technology Compatibility
This website is designed to be compatible with the following assistive technologies and browsers:
- Screen readers including JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, and TalkBack
- Recent versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge on desktop and mobile
- Browser zoom up to 200%
- Voice control software
Reasonable Accommodations
If you need information from this site in an alternate format — such as large print, audio, or an accessible PDF — or if you require an accommodation to participate in our investor education programs, please contact us using the details below. We will work with you to provide the information or service in a format that meets your needs.
Feedback & Support
We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of our website. If you encounter accessibility barriers, have suggestions for improvement, or need information in an alternate format, please let us know.
When reporting an issue, it helps if you can include:
- The page or location where the issue occurred (URL or description)
- A brief description of the problem
- The browser, operating system, and assistive technology (if any) you were using
We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within 3 business days and will work to address identified barriers as quickly as possible.
